On the 26th January, Year 6 students went to Valletta to carry out a part of the practical fieldwork component of Social Studies. Together with their teachers, the children had to investigate and find out facts about important buildings and landmarks in our capital city. Their journey included visits to the ruins of the Royal Theatre, Jean de La Valette square, Auberge de Castille, Upper Barrakka Gardens, St. John's Co-Cathedral and Dun Mikiel Xerri's monument in Independence square. |
