NSTF Science Art Competition
Students in Ms Sandra’s class (year 2, Rm 9) have participated in a competition where they have placed first!
NSTF Science once again launched the NSTF Science Applications for Primary Schools with a variety of themes suitable for different ages. Ms Sandra guided her class to take part in the Science Art Contest which was open for Grades 1 – 3.
From the following themes:
· Human Body – Healthy Lifestyles
· Wild Life in Malta
· Reflection
· Conserving the Environment
· Digital Age
Ms Sandra chose Healthy Lifestyles and in class they used acrylic paint, kite paper, pipe cleaners, string, cloth, gem markers, crayons, match sticks and pencil colours to create a true masterpiece! They titled their creation - Healthy Options. This title was chosen in collaboration with the students in class. The sketch was done by one of the students' dad Mr. Paul Vella Critien. Some parents gave the students a helping hand as well. It was a joint effort which comprised of children, teaching staff and parents - a perfect combination! A big thumbs up to all!
